Fryčovice [ Village or Town/City ]
A middle-sized village in the western part of the Frýdek-Místek District near the main road artery from Olomouc to Český Těšín and further on to Poland. It is well equipped with commercial network and lots of tiny services. Catering is possible in roadhouses, or the several local pubs and restaurants.
multi-purpose hall and sports ground provide the enjoyment of sport all the year round. Horse breeding and riding school serve local citizens and tourists.
There is a cycle path No.6006 running through the village, that is one of the trails dedicated for trekking bikes, in the direction of the foothills of Beskydy and around the Olešná dam.
The highest hill of the village is the Sovinec Hill, 354m high, serving at present as a game preserve, where they breed a herd of white-tailed deers.
